Group B game calendar adjusted after elimination of China

As you know, the Chinese national team will not participate in the Bandy World Championship because of the situation associated with the spread of coronavirus. The FIB Technical Committee has reviewed the composition of the participating teams and the calendar of matches for Group B.

Concerning the initial version, the national teams of Switzerland and Mongolia switched places, which made it possible to even out the total ratings of the teams in the subgroups, which are determined on the basis of the results of the last Championship. Instead of playoff matches for 9-12 places, a one-round tournament will be held for 9-11 places out of three matches. The start time of some matches has also been adjusted.
