On February 26, at 18:10, the Hungarian national bandy team flew from Moscow to Irkutsk. The team will take part in the world championship, which starts on March 1 in two cities of the region – Irkutsk and Shelekhov.

For the head coach of the Hungarian national team, Christian MAROSI, Irkutsk is a familiar city. He was already in the capital of the Baikal region. In 2014, Christian played in the national team at the world Cup.

Christian Marosi, head coach of the Hungarian national bandy team:

– It was a long trip to Irkutsk, we had a difficult flight and the hockey players, of course, were a little tired. We'll get some sleep today and start training tomorrow. Now we have a lot of young guys in our team who will participate in the world Cup for the first time. We have a good team, in Irkutsk will step on the ice and several players who play in Sweden. This time we will try to play better. We really want to get to the final, and I think our team can achieve this goal. We have a great desire to perform well at the world Cup.

Immediately from the airport, the Hungarian national team took a bus to the Angara hotel. Tomorrow the team will hold a training session on the ice of the Trud stadium. Until Sunday, the start day of the world Cup in group B, the Hungarian team has three training sessions scheduled.

The Hungarian national team became the second team to arrive in Irkutsk. Last Saturday, the Mongolian national team arrived in the capital of the Baikal region by bus. On February 28, the Japanese national team will arrive in Irkutsk. 29 – the other seven teams of group «B».
