The Hungarian national team played a friendly match with Irkutsk «Record»

The Hungarian national team, which is preparing for the upcoming world bandy championship among group B teams in Irkutsk, played with the women's team «Record».

The match on the initiative of the Irkutsk team was held on the ice of the Trud stadium. The game turned out to be very interesting and, according to the players, useful for the players of each team.

Almost half of the match, the girls of "Record" played with rivals on equal terms. Twice Irkutsk women pleased their fans with goals scored (Kristina Mashinskaya and Maria Thir scored). Still, the favorites of the upcoming world Cup in group B were stronger – the Hungarian team won this match with a score of 5:2.

According to their coach, Christian Maroshi, his team agreed without hesitation to the offer to conduct a sparring with «Record». Hungarian hockey players admitted that one of the main problems of preparing for the championship is the lack of game practice. They thanked the girls for the game and noted that this meeting will help the team in solving high tasks – the Hungarians intend to play in the final match of group B.

The Hungarian national team will play its opening match of the championship on March 1 on the ice of the Trud stadium (the game will start at 09.00 am). The opponent will be the Netherlands national team.
