Marat Khusnullin and Sergey Menyaylo satisfied with the readiness of the ice palace for the World Cup in Irkutsk
Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District Sergey Menyaylo, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin and Acting Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev visited the Baikal Ice Palace on March 11.
Two weeks later, this new arena will host the matches of the World Hockey Championship in Group A.
According to Altair, Vladimir Matienko, head of the World Cup preparation and holding department, Sergei Menyaylo, Marat Khusnullin and Igor Kobzev agreed that the Baikal arena was beautiful, comfortable for athletes and spectators, and that this is a real present from builders to the world championship in Irkutsk.
